there is sod all marketing and publicity in relation to this event. why is this? most bands don't want to play ireland because of excess tax impositions, coupled with the poor incentive after paying overheads, the miniscule fees on offer(i heard that bungle were offered £700 to play dublin last year).surely it would make sense to do a big promo thing to gaurantee financial reward for the bands involved?? i know that most of the tickets will sell because of the loyal fanbases such bands have but why the BIG secret? it's hard to figure.
anyway i'd gladly give my last rollo to see QOTSA up there.
: There's details about it on the Ticketmaster
: website (ticketmaster.ie) but they were
: pretty vague last time I checked. I'm
: looking forward to seeing a few decent
: bands! From what I heard, Pantera, Slayer,
: CoF, Static X & Therapy? were all that
: was confirmed, but in addition to those
: bands, Biohazard and Raging Speedhorn and
: some others were playing in the UK. Anyone
: know if the same's happening here?
