: Her partner won't
: "allow" her to
: smoke in public? ... that
: could be several things,
: I guess. Probably a
: jealousy thing. Her
: partner knows that a lady
: pipe smoker is going to
: attract the attention of
: men (...as well you
: know). So your friend's
: partner probably can't
: handle that kind of hit
: to the ego. That's a
: shame. I'd be proud to be
: in the company of a
: attractive lady smoking
: her pipe.
: Gill, I'll have to check
: out this Yahoo group you
: mentioned. If I may pry
: here (and please let me
: know if I'm being too
: nosy), what was it that
: first drew you to pipe
: smoking?

:It's quite a lomg story. My mum never smoked, but my dad smoked apipe, and I was always a daddy's girl. I tried his pipe when he was out and liked it. I borrowed a pipe of his and took it to school when I was 13 and liked the attention it got from the boys. Then a local paper got hold of it and put my photo ( with pipe ) in paper. My mum saw it and she went ballistic, but dad was very laid back about it and let me smoke a pipe in the house. He bought me a pipe for the christmas following, and I have smoked pepes ever since. I have al;ways liked attention and have never smiked acigarette in my life, but I do enjoy a good cigar. Men have always been fascinated by my pipe smoking, but some guys get embarrassed and only like it at home.. It was some time before I raelised why men liked to see awoman smoke a pipe, and now I must admit I love to see men being turned on by my smoking. I have a collection of over 20 pipes and chose them very carefully to match where I am.
