Oh, I can see why you fell in love with this house! I really like the layout and many of the light fixtures that appeared (notably the front hall sconces and dining room fixture) are really nice. You know, I wonder if under the carpet upstairs there is actually hardwood? So often in homes that are not of this decade they built in far more quality (hardwood would be good for your allergies if you discover it). But the basement! What a treasure! That will be your favorite spot, I can see that right now.
