    Agreed. We have this nagging tendency to stereotype and "group" ourselves even as we complain about others doing so. We manage to be offended when religious conservatives make invalid assumptions about us as a group, but it's just fine when we do it to ourselves. Maybe it's just a natural human tendency to oversimplify.
