That's largely my take on it. I like the idea of having one, but not if I have to be the one creating it.
It's sort of like music; I prefer to be a passive participant, because (a) I'm not good at it, and (b) I have no interest in BECOMING good at it. All the same, I'm terribly happy that other people DO like creating music.
