    As I said here and on the website (see link below), I agree 100%; Target is a much more pleasant place to shop.

    Alas, that wasn't the point I was making :)

    The point is that just because Target is "nicer" and trendier, it isn't necessarily "better" from a "moral" perspective; both companies behave in a similar fashion with respect to the environment, labor, outsourcing, etc. But for some reason, Target can do no wrong, while Wal-Mart apparently can do no right in some people's eyes...

    I'm just saying that one is no more "evil" than the other; the only difference is aesthetics and marketing...

    Thanks. Aside from San Francisco, the California visit was great...
