I have every right to try and raise funds for my film. That's the only way movies get made. As for my post on this forum, it was never to try and raise funds, it was to find a consultant for the script.
And just because I don't have a puny miniDV camera, it doesn't mean I'm not a filmmaker. Besides, I'd never be caught dead shooting a real film on miniDV. Real films are shot on 35mm film or on state-of-the-art HD cameras.
