That is actually a well-formulated, feasible possibility.
However, as we all know the American economy would snap if a war with Iran was initiated, bringing down the rest of the world in the process. Obama would never attack Iran, because the raghead in charge of the Revolutionary Government would launch missles at oil cargo ships in the Straits of Harmuz. With that being said, after the first attack Lloyd's of London would refuse to insure any cargo ship in the area, thus bringing the oil trade to a grinding halt. If that happened the Obama Administration would be a catastrophic failure, placing the country, and the world, in peril.
So what we have between the Western and Islamic worlds is essentially a Cold War-style mutually assured destruction.
