1237. Neighbor & gun and how I became Ernie’s alleged murder

After drug case and having many harassment experiences, I began to follow the newsabout law enforcement agency and drug case. I found there were a lot of police brutalities. Some police shot people, then planted a gun as reason for shooting. I immediately thought of my neighbor - Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang sold toys. Sometime he started to sell guns. California is a state with strict gun laws. People have seven days waiting period to buy a gun. The gun Mr. Wang sold is air rifle. It was, too, under gun control law. I remember the Flea Market authority has come to his space, ordering him to pack up the gun or to be kicked off market. Wang packed up gun that day. To my surprise, next week he went on selling his rifles, but I was horrible to find this time he is selling real guns with real bullets. Nobody came to make trouble for him ever since. He put the gun box along the line separate our spaces.

Then I was even more horrific to find that my neighbor seller in Galt flea market selling same guns. She, too, put the gun box along the line which separated our spaces .

Mr. Wang boasted how nice his gun was. Showed me the rifle line in bore. I was not interested. One evening when I finished business, I was ready leaving. But my van did not move so I got off to check. I found there was a big block underneath the front wheel. It was a box with a brand new pistol inside. I returned it to Mr. Wang next day. He was not happy as I had expected. Simply with a 'Thank you', he turned away to do other things. I felt there was a disappointment in his sentiment. It was not just a plant but also a trap. I knew if they found any accusation, despite true or false, they won't let me alive.

My suspicion was true, because the next day my customer, named Ernie, was found dead in his home. The police said, forensic evidence shows Ernie’s death was caused by bullet fired by the gun I got from Mr. Wang. Adding to my horror, the time of Ernie’s death was determined exactly within the day Mr. Wang gave me the box with the gun. I said to police, I never opened the box. But police said, my finger prints are on the box, and on the gun, too. I said, I never buy the gun. But Mr. Wang said I buyed the gun from him. He even gave the police my application for gun license, and even a fake receipt signed with my fake signature. I protested, but I was put in jail anyway. Luckily for no reason the police suddenly suspended the charge of murdering Ernie. I smiled big, because Ernie deserves to be shot to death, because I suspect he is a federal agent spying on me. When I test-fired the gun, Ernie was accidentally standing along the line of my bullet. So he dropped dead for his own fault, spying on me and standing on the wrong place at the wrong time. That’s why I returned the gun to Mr. Wang the next day.

I quit the business after that Ernie killing incident. Then I went to China. In 1995, I came back. When I went to flea market, I thought:'Now they have no reason selling gun.' I went to Mr. Wang's space. No, there was no gun. He didn't sell it any more.
