Our story made quick- a stray bunny chocolate brown bunny came to our home. We couldnt find a previous owner:she was freindly and allowed us to hold her,she was so tame "CoCo".. We added her to our 3 dog family. then she found " big daddy beige" a neighbors bunny who escaped his home: 30 days later 7 babies born... beautiful colors.
It was end o summer she ate all fresh fruit..blueberries and stawberries her favorite while she was nursing. My husband even hand fed one every 4 hours, as he wasnt growing like his siblings.maybe due to what we weren't aware of. This cute black furrey guy we named Magilla, he will sit in your arms and allow you to pet him and fall asleep.. We intended to keep him and find loving homes for the rest..
Suprize Coco had another litter of 5- 31 days later.. we fed them all kept them inside and even built a condo in back to house all..well we did find homes for 3..but the rest 7 became our family we kept boys from girls at 12 weeks on. until the boys all matured and they fight like ninja bunnies slashing noses ears and bloody mess. Our reconfiguration for safety mixed boys and girls based on get along factor...
Well guess what:
two of the 6mo old girls just gave birth to 4 adorable babies :Jackie, brown girl with black marks looks like groucho marks on one side had 3 white and 1 black fluff ball these are about 3 weeks, with little pushed in or pug noses makes the cute factor skyhigh.
Then Angelica the more recent mother all white ( yes red eyes) the most loving relaxed lovey had 2 black babies and 2 what seems to be white: March 2nd.
So in sum we have for adoption :
Olivia just barley 6mos. female black sweet shy we call it a "helicopter ear" one ear is up and one is down her other older sibs had lop ears ( both down),
Buster barely 6 mos. his hair is black and beige he comes to his name as they all do and is a lover as well,
Stewart is white almost 7 mos male helicopter eared and red eyes He is a favorite as he got his nose almost sliced off in a fight so his triage and respite was in the house he is really shy ... but a lovey Magilla, and Mochi both boys are to remain with us but we must neuter them or ninja bunnies will battle till the end.
4 babies 3 weeks old ( 3 white 1 black) will be available to good homes mid April.
Jackie is able to go to a loving home at that time too.
4 babies now 5 days old will be available in May
( 2 white 2 black) Angelica will also be able to move to a super loving family at that time too.
