So, what do you all think?
McCain thinks the next president should not meet with the president of Iran directly. Doing so, he posits, would increase Iran's legitimacy due to mass media coverage and increase their weapons development and threats against Israel.
Obama thinks the next president should act in the spirit of diplomacy and meet with Iran's president directly. He opines that the Bush administration's refusal to do so has deterred peacemaking progress and is a failed strategy.
So what do you think? Who do you think here has the right ideas? Should we be diplomatically meeting with our enemies or refusing to do so? Which strategy do you think is more effective in the peacemaking process and which one do you think increases hostility or the threat of terror?
I have my views but I will wait to see what some people say.
