Since I've been spending 70% of my time in downtown Saginaw, I've developed a sense of "Saginaw pride". I thought I'd share with you some things to check out or even to just be aware of in the downtown area. It's not as shady and deserted as you may think.

Dawn of a New Day is a coffee shop located on Franklin street. It is owned and operated by a lady named Dawn who is very invested in the community. They also have a space for bands to play.

Also, I've been able to see and talk with several government officials, directors of organizations, and leaders in the community, they've all been VERY willing to meet and tell me what they do/what they're about. If anyone is ever interested in knowing more about the community by talking to a leader, just give them a call. Most people are more than willing talk to people about what they do, it's awesome.
If I can think of any other cool things I'll post em'. :D
Love from Sag...
