Posted by Karen Douglas Visitors to this site might be interested to know that the Octagon Theatre in Bolton, near Manchester, UK are currently showing a production called Second From Last In The Sack Race, which is based on the novel of the same name by David Nobbs, and adapted by Michael Birch. The production runs until 6th July, and you can contact the Octagon Theatre Box Office on 01204 520661, or +44 (0) 1204 520661 if youre calling from outside the UK. Unfortunately their website doesnt seem to be operational at the moment. The production stars a couple of people that have featured in Brookside and Coronation Street fairly recently, and the show is getting some great reviews. I went to see it last week and really enjoyed it. Check it out!
