you are the luckiest woman alive!you found an honest man,who's in touch with not only his emotions,but yours as well. he is absolutely right,if he doesn't work out all of the things he sees as problems in himself,he won't be worth having. so let him! trust me on this one,a man who is willing to put it out there like that,even if it means losing you,is a man worthy of your patience and your love. and would you really want someone to commit under an ultimatum?they would spend the rest of their lives in a lie,because they didn't commit from the heart. is that a life you want? he truly cares about you,and he knows he will hurt you if you don't let him move at his own pace.it is hard,but if you love him, allow him this.you won't regret it, regardless of what your friends say,and how are their relationships? (just don't ask me advice on sex,that's the only area I can't quite figure out.)as far as your situation goes,he's just a diamond in the rough,but when it's his time to shine,he'll be flawless,and he'll love you for the rest of his life for allowing him to become what he knows you deserve!
