When the past isn't in the past

So my girlfriend of 4 months still keeps in touch with ex-boyfriends, and even a friend that she randomly slept with one night. Although I know nothing will happen with them, I just don't understand why she needs to hang out with them. She says, I ended the relationship years ago... My response: If you still hang out with them, you didn't end anything. In my book, "ending a relationship" actually means the relationship is over, whatever form it's in. How do you deal with this?
