3 months would be a start, but anyone can put on a good front for that long, and your talking about a marriage commitment and losing family based on that short a period of time. I personally would keep him guessing, set a timeframe in your own mind, longer than 3 months, and keep it to yourself, that way you can tell if the new him is real or not. Maybe your mom flips out, but it sounds like she has been there for you, and this guy has only just begun. You might be right about him, if so wont you still be right in 6 months, a year or even longer? Besides what if your mistaken, what impact could that have on your son?
