hi i need some help, i ahve been in a relationship with my girlfriend for 3 years, she is 8 years older than me i am 34 she is 42. I love her a lot, but over the 3 years i find she is always finding faults with me and i take the coment the wrong way, i have low self esteem from these coments. Its comments such as, you dont smile enough, u embarrass me in public, your always proving something and my favourite is your not like other men i have been with. this is a constant thing at least twice a week. she wont hug or kiss me much and she finds it hard to make eye contact when she does kiss me. i know i am not perfect but i dont understand. i dont abuse her in any way, i try to be romantic and as caring as possible and she just will not be close to me, she says she loves me but i am now starting to doubt that.i feel so insecure at the moment.
