I meet a guy about a year ago, it was one of those unexpected connections, the ones where you can't stand the guy when you first meet them, but then you see something special about them. We hung out for day he was in town visiting with his friends and we had an intense moment it was like one of those feelings you could not explain (we never slept together) after when he went back home, he lives across the border we spoke for a month and change, he said he wanted to meet my family we spoke everyday. Then a family tragedy hit and he changed on me, just out of the blue he said he couldn't give me what I wanted because he could not focus on us. He said that I would see him in a year, a year has passed and I've held him in a special place in my heart but have dated other men. I found a friend of his number contacted him and asked if he could pass on my number. I'm disappointed because there were so many things that we never really spoke about things just ended so abruptly and I'm thinking did i do something wrong? Should I make the move ask his friend for his number or just let go?
