So just about a month ago, my bf of 3 years said he needed a "break" I fought and bickered and didn't understand, but accepted it until 5 days later when he claimed he wanted me back. everything was great for about a week, he called me all the time, told me he loved me all day everyday. then after a week, it slowly started to dwindle, he didn't call me as much, that kind of stuff. one thursday we were talking and he said he wasn't sure if he looked at us as being long term (after 3 years?!) and that he didn't know how he could ever be sure if i was the one if he's never experienced anything else. he also said he has wondered before if there could be anything else out there, anything to make either of us happier. i took this in and on sunday told him he needed to take his space. he cried and told me he loved me, but agreed and said he'd call me on tuesday. well, that was LAST tuesday, it's been almost 2 weeks since the breakup and I still haven't heard from him. I sent his stuff back which he clearly didn't like because he left a rather catty comment in his AIM Profile. I would just like to know what is going on with him, if he's seeing someone else and if this is salvagable? Anything would help...
