Bf and I met 6 months ago. He was separated from his ex, but not legally divorcedm just in the process. IT has been the best relationship. He is wonderful! I fell totally in love with him, and I truly feel that he loves me, I see it in his face. However, now that all is legally final, he feels like he "failed", and feels "guilty". He says he knows his heart is with me, and even she (ex) told him she knows it is. Yet, this has come between us with such force we are now breaking up, he says he has to get himself straight before he can be anything to anyone. We never argue, even about this, we talk honestly. He told me, his ex and even his mom that I am the only person in his life he has never lied to. Anyways, am I naive to hope that time apart will make him miserable without me, or should I give up on the best things I've ever known? Thanks.
