I was reading your reply to someone else that posted today as well about losing a girlfriend about 5 years, etc. Do you not think that me contacting my ex would appear needy in any way? On one hand I believe that it would be better not to contact him so he won't have the "upper hand" but on the other hand I feel that if I don't contact him first I may never hear from him again - due to how stubborn he is. It is definitely hard to figure out what to do. I am wondering if he even regrets his decision now, after all of the things he said and wanting to sepend his life with me, etc. I would be very embarrassed and hurt if he didn't reply back to my email, which as an adult I know is a possibility. Maybe he is happier now... What a mess! Thanks again.
