young girl in need of advice on relationship.. please help... I have no one else to talk to

I am 20 years old and living with my boyfriend of a year. We recently got into a huge fight and for the first time he physically hurt me, may I add that he was drunk. I love Matt so much and would do anything for him. Since then I have been living out off my suitcase with friends. I have talked to him and he of course apoligized but I dont know if he is willing to try to fix his drinking problem. My grandma who raised me has wanted me to move back with her for a while now. She is aware of my problem. It seems like the choice should be easy but... my grandma and I dont really get along well. If I move back with her I will have to give up going to school. Which I dont really want to do. I need help..! Should I wait it out a while and see if Matt really is going to try to change or give up and leave?? please help me!!!
