I always loved jewelry and history and the two together is perfect. I found this message board in 2000. With no knowledge at all about royalty and the jewelry worn by them I have learnt a lot from the members on this board. My interest is mainly with the Swedish jewelry but i enjoy reading about other historical items also.
I would love to see a book about Swedish royal jewelry. The book Drottning Silvias festklänningar: och de kungliga smyckena (2006) leaves you wanting more.
My wish list.
From princess Lillian’s will we got information about 2 tiaras. The Laurel Wreath Tiara is known but the mystery is the other tiara.
Queen Sofias parure, is it back in Sweden and when will we see it again.
There is a necklace worn by Silvia at the state visit from Austria 1979 any information or larger photo would make me so happy.
I would love to see a website like that of dutchroyaljewels.nl it’s a huge job. If someone would like to do it I am the first to volunteer to help.
