Since your book arrived on time and in perfect condition, Nellie, I am still pondering what could bother you.
I have noticed the absence of copyright and publishing date, but who wrote and published the book and when are clear. There are extensive acknowledgments. The only thing I have wished as I read is that every piece of jewelry in pictures of people were identified. Bracelets, brooches, rings, etc.
I do like the footnotes at the ends of the sections. So much easier than having to find them in the back of a large book.
