I got my copy two days ago and finally had the time to flip through this morning - I didn't wanted to do that in a hurry, this book deserves attention and time .

What a wonderful book - these photographs and I'm particularly fond of the two huge photographs of The Vladimir tiara, once with pearl-setting and once with the Cambridge emerald drops .

Alas, I haven't had the time to intensely read all text, mainly the captions and short text and here I felt a tiny dissappointment. There are pictures of Queen Mary where she wears the "Cockade brooch" (as it is called on this board) but so far I haven't found any mention of it... I was so curious to learn more about this special brooch, I like so very much. But I won't complain, maybe there is some information about that jewel in the text I haven't found yet...

But over all - I'm in heaven .
