I didn't know that the upper-part could be worn as a rivière, nice to know. I also never realised that the pearls are pink pearls. Quite unique combination, pearls-pink-pearls-diamonds and garnets. The only thing I never liked about this tiara, is the central bow-motiv, but that's off course a very personal feeling.
Maybe the children the late count & countess of Rosenborg didn't like this tiara, and decided to auction it. After all, they have almost all an own tiara, isn't it?
Birger = diamond & turquoise star tiara
Waldemar = opal tiara?
Carl-Johan = small opal tiara?
Desirée = gold & lava parure
