I have always distinguished the Surrey tiara/necklace and the QV wedding gift necklace/tiara -
first, by the central spikes - Surrey is topped by the “spear” and QV by the solitaire diamond;
second, the wedding gift illustrations in Menkes are not entirely accurate but they do show distinct differences at base level as well.
The scene is set - now to the three puzzles.
