And it's all of Greenlandic origin. The gold comes from melted down coins, which were minted a few years ago in connection with the international Polar Year. This is a bit funny, because these coins had a 'picture' of Queen Margrethe wearing another tiara - so you could say the gold has been used twice for tiaras:
