Both the diadem as well the veil were heirlooms. According to Hola! the veil was used by Princess Irene in 1964. The Dutch couturier Addy van den Krommenacker had long and intensive work in restoring the veil.

Too bad that there was no Bourbon-Parma diadem, the Bandeau however was fantastic with the veil.
