No, this necklace contains emeralds and pearls.
It was later part of the wedding gifts to Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester in 1935.
Since then, the current Duchess has rearranged the bears in the necklace to create one strand of emerald beads separated by pearls, with the pendants from the corsage brooch attached.
It is believed that the original necklace, as worn by Queen Mary, was remodelled from Queen Alexandra's Indian Emerald Necklace, which she received as a wedding-gift from Queen Victoria in 1863.
