Sure, it is sensitive but we can do it. Just leave personalities out and treat it as an exercise in historic jewels and customs.
Having thought a bit more, I think a PC would travel to a coronation wearing something and not bare headed, as does a consort to be crowned.
So a PC could wear the Diamond Diadem 1820.
She could herself add a coronet at the point when all peers and peeresses add theirs at the time of the crowning of the KIng.
The PC would leave wearing all that too.
