I don't like to spoil the game of "who owns what" - I enjoy the property topic myself - but terminology is often used in a less than clear fashion.
My own view is that "exclusvie use" says enough.
And to compare the British way with the Swedish, for example.
The Swedish share a pool of jewellery, and they switch and swap - probably under the control of Queen Sylvia of course - very successfully.
However I like the British way of mostly extending exclusive use.
