1 Tiara of the provinces (for the Queen of the Belgians)
2 Laurel tiara (a gift to her personally)
3 Wolfers necklace/tiara
She has however 4 children and without a House or Royal collection her two daughters and two future daughters-in-law will all need at least one decent tiara. Queen Paola still has the diamond bandeau of Queen Elisabeth but it's not certain that she will leave that tiara to the Duchess of Brabant who in a few years time will have need of a tiara.
Im hoping Mathilde has access to two other pieces (the Spanish wedding gift tiara and Queen Astrid's diamond and emerald necklace tiara) but they are yet to be seen on her. Even with those pieces added to her collection she would still need extra pieces for the next generation.
That makes buying a new tiara that breaks up in several wearable pieces a smart move on her part.
: I Really hope you are right!! A new
: tiara...Wow. But on the other side...Why Buy
: a new tiara if you have perhaps a diamond
