Even a casual glance had me laughing at some of the very obvious mistakes.
To cite one example - the caption of the photo of HM with Prince Charles and Princess Anne says HM is wearing the 3 strand pearl necklace given to her by George V. Then almost immediately the author says that the Queen is wearing the 2 strands she wore on her wedding day. In reality HM was wearing what we call the Hanoverian Pearls.
Re the Kent amethysts. The author says that historians believe that two of the brooches from the demi-parure may have been added to the necklace. Perhaps the author had read Arthur's post from 2014 http://members2.boardhost.com/royal-jewels/msg/archive/1409053781.html as I am not aware of any other who has made that connection.
I wonder why she keeps referring to HM's aquamarines as unusual?
