The brooch is very lovely. I love snow and I have several pieces of snowflake jewellery so I'm coveting this brooch quite a bit. From what I've read, it features 48 sapphires that were found by Seemeega and Nowdluk Aqpik on Baffin Island which is in the far north of Canada near Greenland in 2002. They seem to range from a dark blue to almost white. It didn't mention the diamonds but I assume that they were also mined in Canada. I couldn't find out any info about who made the brooch. Did anyone else have better luck than me?
