What you say is to me the obvious solution :
Grand duchess Anastasia's bigger tiara (with diamond arches above the briolettes motives) could very possibly have been given to her daughter Alexandrine when she married the future king of Denmark.
And it is very possibly that tiara Alexandrine is wearing at the opera in 1914 on the drawing posted here.
These big tiaras were perfect for the coiffures ladies used to wear before 1914. After the war, in the 1920s, they became much more difficult to wear (except for queen Mary), so it is once again very possible she decided to simplify her mother's tiara by removing the arches and keeping only the diamond briolettes motives on a frame allowing her to wear it more like a bandeau.
