I am glad you were able to follow the wedding events Maria Olivia. It was indeed a beautiful, beautiful wedding, with the sweetest lovely royal bride, and the ofering of the bridal bouquet was one of the highlights. One of my favourite royal brides ever.
In Portugal, and I believe also in Spain, its fairly common that brides offer their bouquet to the image of a patron Saint of their devotion.
In my family some brides chose to have their bridal bouquets placed on the tumbs of our late grandparents.
And keeping it jewelry themed, I loved how the diadem was placed on Maria Francisca's hair, it was perfectly placed. Her mother's first wearing of the diadem, at her wedding day in May 1995, was not that sucessful imho.
The diamond earrings, from her mother and grandmother, are the perfect match for the diadem I believe.
