But the Laurel tiara and Victoria is every time the same. I hope to see more different tiara on her. Not almost every time the same.
Last 23rd April, the newly-elected President of Finland, H.Exc. Alexander Stubb, paid his first State visit to Sweden.
On the occasion of the State dinner at Stockholm Royal Palace, Princess Sofia of Sweden, Duchess of Värmland, donned a new version of her (much-versatile) wedding tiara. As you know, this tiara has already experienced a lot of alternative gems at the top (emeralds, pearls, topazes, turquoises...). This time, the tiara was topped by a new set of large pear-shaped blue stones (possibly sapphires, though I am not really sure).
The other royal ladies were perfect, as usual , all of them dazzling in diamonds: Queen Silvia with Queen Sofia's Nine-Prong Tiara, the Vasa earrings and the medium-size diamond riviere, Crown Princess Victoria with the Connaught Laurel Tiara, the floral diamond earrings and a smaller diamond riviere, and Princess Christina with the Connaught Loop Tiara and a necklace of her own collection.
