On a recent Roadshow a jewellery expert had a diamond star brooch to appraise. Thought to be part of tiara, or one of many, he called it a "constellation" of stars. Does the word constellation apply to Sisi's stars in the photo?
While researching Sisi, I found that there were 2 sets of 27 stars, one, with a central pearl, the other without. One of these sets remains within the family, Some of the other set, was passed to court ladies, and so is imcomplete.
