I must say that I like this set more & more, I'm really impressed by the beauty & history of this demi-parure.
On the wonderfull site of John I read that the set was originally with a tortoise haircomb.
I wonder if this haircomb is still in the vaults and if it would be possible to mount the diamonds again on this haircomb so we have a yellow gold & diamond hair-comb-tiara.
