That caught my eye too but after looking at it closely, I am sure the tiara is in its original form...here is why, Ingeborg is walking out of the building, and with the daylight you have lots of sparkle from large stones...if the sun hits the stone at an angle, it creates this white glare, which I believe we see in this photo. In addition she is walking down the steps so photographer took the photo from the bottom of the steps which visually alters the actual dimension of this tiara.
