I remember reading something about how the diamond drop tiara was addressed in the divorce - something about how Alexandra would keep it in the family and give to Nikolai. But that could have been a supposition.

: My dear Tamara, you absolutely spoil us with
: these stuning HQs! I really like the Baden
: Palmette tiara, and it has such a family
: history traveling from some countries until
: it is now in Denmark.
    :
: In Denmark we saw some significant pieces go
: to minor branches of the family, like the
: saphire and the fringe tiaras from Queen
: Alexandrine, and still we dont know for sure
: about the diamond drop tiara of Countess
    : Alexandra...
    :
: I feel I must say something, forgive me if I
: seem a bit old fashioned, but I feel sad
: with the idea that this tiara should go away
: from the main line. I really like the way in
: that Sweden and the Netherlands royal
: families have dealed with this issue. In the
: old days princes would marry princesses, who
: would bring many glitering wedding gifts or
: inheritances to add to the royal vaults (so
: it happen with Viktoria of Baden, Margareth
: of Connaught...). But today things are
: diferent, if the remaining jewels keep on
: being spread to minor lines, in one or two
: generations there will be not that much left
: from the family jewels (with exception to
: crown jewels). In Sweden and Netherlands all
: the royal ladies can borrow the jewels of
: their preference, but the major historic
: family pieces remain in the main line and
: cannot be sold nor inherited, I think it's
    : the perfect solution.
: This is just my personal opinion of
    : course...

    : You are welcome
    :
: I have a feeling that CP Mary will inherit
: Aigrette tiara because they do not have
: anymore diamond tiaras to go with diamond
: crown jewels...and most likely Palmette will
: go to Marie..but this is my logical approach
    :
    :
    :
    : on a second thought...palmette would nicely
    : complement Mary's wedding tiara...so this
: way wedding tiara will be worn as it was
: meant to be ... I think that would look
    : quite lovely.

: Thank you Tamara for the wonderful (as
    : usual)
: collage! And I absolutely agree with
: Josefine... I love all the blonde or grey
: haired royal ladies also, of course, but to
: make a tiara show it's magnificence of
: details and glitter there is nothing like a
    : brunette hair...
    :
: Can you imagine how exciting it would be to
: imagine (suposing Crown Princess Mary would
: "inherit") all the combinations of
: this jewel she could do . Time will tell,
    : as always...
    :
    :

: i think it would look so good agains a
    : darker
: hair it kind of blends in with the queens
    : grey hair.
: Not sayong the queen needs to change
: haircolour but it will be great to see it
    : against darker hair
    :

: I never counted how many ways but while ago
    : I
: made this collage to show how many ways you
    : can wear it...

: I do not know what the best name is for the
: tiara so used the one i found on Internet
: I tiara i really like and how flexible it is
    :
: i would love too see it against a darkr ahir
: here is a task for you
    :
: how many ways have the danish queen worn
: this tiara both in her hair and as a
    : coursage
