Well,
. Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon was the consort of King George VI of the United Kingdom, Emperor of India . Princess Astrid of Sweden (and Norway) was the consort of King Léopold III of the Belgians . Princess Juliana was the reigning Queen of the Netherlands (her consort was Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld) . Princess Charlotte was the reigning Grand Duchess of Luxembourg (her consort was Prince Félix of Bourbon-Parma) . Princess Ingrid of Sweden was the consort of King Frederik IX of Denmark
So, we have a reigning Queen (Juliana) and a reigning Grand Duchess (Charlotte) who were Heiresses Presumptive, two Queens Consorts whose husbands were Heirs Apparents (Astrid and Ingrid) and a Queen Consort whose husband was Heir Presumptive (Elizabeth).

Yikes! : That's not right either. I give up! : : : : --Previous Message-- : Great banner - thanks. : Technically surely the Duchess of York was : married to an heir presumptive and not an : heir apparent?
