I found this great photo of the Queen Mum in a book I bought from my one of my favorite old and new book store. It's called The Queen Mother: The Hulton Getty Picture Collection by Roger Hudson and copyrighted 2000 and it has a whole lot of pictures in it. The King and Queen visit Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia (which today is Harare, Zimbabwe), during their four month tour of Southern Africa. It is April 1947 and they are on their way to the opening of Parliament there. I will try to get a better scan of it. The photo is from Hulton, I checked the back for book for the photographer. PJ
