    Snowdon? Ah ha.
Perhaps one of a series of portraits, by selected photographers, to mark her diamond jubilee.

For a few years, I have had a theory that certain jewels worn by the Queen Mother have been worn by the Queen for record keeping and historical purposes.

For example, we have seen the Queen wearing state jewels that the Queen Mother continued to wear, like the Regal Circlet which I think the Queen has worn publicly only once, and Queen Victoria's Jubilee brooch.

But we have also seen the Queen wearing various brooches which belonged to the Queen Mother.

I am really looking forward to a feast of diamonds this year !

: Very interesting that it would appear now.
: Perhaps it will be in the upcoming

: In any case hopefully that portrait will be

: looks like a Snowdon to me.
