I hope that if Geoffrey Munn has it this does not mean that his company, Wartski has got it to sell! Hopefully it is only a loan from the Harewoods just as it was for the One Hundred Tiaras exhibition that he organised in 1997. Munn says in the foreward to the catalogue for that exhibition that "amongst the hundreds of letters of enquiry during the past two years was one to the Earl of Harewood in the hope that there might be a tiara from his mother, the late Princess Royal. Lady Harewood replied that there was only one and that if I wanted to see how it looked it was plainly visible in the Winterhalter! I believe this is the first time it has been exhibited and its discovery remains one of indelible excitememt" --Previous Message-- : Thank you both for sharing these fantastic : photos. It has always been one of my : favorites. The greedy part of me would : love to see it back in the royal family. : The better part of me says I hope the family : enjoys and respects its provenance.
