Thank you Boffer. I agree with you that it is the one brooch, but i'm sure some others are not yet convinced. However, I have a note that the Royal Collection confirmed that Bristol is wrong. It was from North Wales. Bristol was an error made by Menkes which Field relied on, and the Royal Collection used Field as source in Five Gold Rings.
I will still do a poll on the Royal Jewels Quiz board because I'm sure others will want to discuss the matter from a jewels perspective.
I am not seeking to revive debate over persons, only the jewels.
