5 diamond roses Archived Message

I very much doubt she'll wear the 5 diamond roses. I don't recall anyone other than HM wearing them since the 1950's. I think they may have been a personal gift from Queen Juliana to her oldest daughter (possibly when she turned 18). The pearl setting of the emerald tiara or the ears of wheat are the likely candidates. I would have loved it if all brides of the family had worn the same tiara thus creating a wedding tiara. For me the ears of wheat would have been the best candidate due to it's symbolism. That tiara is seldom shown properly. Laurentien wore it well for the Norwegian wedding. Combined with a veil only covering the chignon the tiara would look stunning on a bride. Carolina's hair is long enough for that setting so i hope she'll use that one. --Previous Message-- : Yes indeed. The earrings belonged to Queen : Juliana and were a present of Prince : Bernhard if I am not mistaken. Nice gesture. : Her older sister Princess Margarita wore the : same earrings when she married her present : husband. From all of Queen Juliana's : granddaughters, Princess Carolina has worn : most heirlooms from the collection so : anything is possible but the Ears of Wheat : and Pearl setting of the Emerald tiara are : likely candiates but so is the Laurel Wreath : Tiara, although she has worn it last year : already. Yet another lovely option would be : to wear the 5 diamond roses in her hair. : : --Previous Message-- : Isn't she wearing the cabochon sapphire : earrings of her beloved grandmother, the : late HM Queen Juliana? : : Another question...wich tiara will she wear : for her wedding? : : The ears-of-wheat like her sister or the : pearl-version of the emerald tiara like her : sister-in-law, or another one? : : : http://www.ppe-agency.com/ : : : :
