First of all, if it were not subsidized by the Royal Collection, none of us could have ever afforded The Queen's Diamonds. It is magnificent!
Second, Boffer, you have really gone out of your way to comb this massive tome for information for us. There is an amazing amount of knowledge in it.
I have spent the afternoon and have only got about a third of the way through this book. What a pleasure it is to read the carefully researched text and look at the beautifully detailed photos. The old fashioned ribbon bookmark is now waiting for me at the place where I had to take a break.
