    Unhygienic? Oh please....
All this hair-up-hair-down-discussion is from my point of view tiring anyway, itīs a matter of taste, but okaayyy...
As to talk about hygiene, than we have to discuss about jewels in the newer washed and powdered hair of the 18th century-Queens or tons of hairspray in the concreted hair of the ones of the 50s, 60s or 70s (which smells extremly nasty by the way...).
As long as we will not discuss terms like this in a more cultural historical way, I guess we shouldnīt do this...

: The hair is certainly beautiful but seeing the
: high VIP level of the event I hoped the
: Duchess would opt for a more formal updo. It
: looked girlie (the Yorks equally) and I find
: it a bit unhygienic to have all that masses
: of hair surrounding the face. No matter they
: wash it with the world's most precious
: shampoo, I find it too much. Such a little
: skinny face and all that lush hair, brrrr.

: Earlier this week the Duchess had the hair
: up and she looked so very beautiful and
    : regal.
